Depending on the test method used, the laboratory takes into account when establishing compliance of test results with the requirements:

- the arithmetic mean of the results obtained during tests
or
- the worst result obtained during testing.

The principle of making decisions regarding compliance of test results with the requirements in relation to a specific test method is given in the Test report.

Unless otherwise agreed with the client, regulations or normative documents, the laboratory does not take into account the measurement uncertainty when determining compliance with the requirements.

Decision-making bodies may apply a decision-making principle other than the one adopted above, which may affect the result of the statement of compliance.
